Marysville Police Pursuit Results in Officer Trapped Upside Down in Patrol Car

Audio from a pursuit that took place early this morning, beginning in Marysville with a suspect attempting to hit police officers, reaching speeds over 100mph and ending with a Marysville Police Car on it's roof and the officer briefly trapped. This chase involved SCSO, MPD and Granite Falls Police.

Lynnwood Police pursuit ends with rollover at Swedish Hospital

Audio from a pursuit of a stolen Lexus SUV early this morning in Lynnwood. The pursuit ended with the Lexus involved in a rollover near the Swedish Hospital in Edmonds and the driver going to Harborview, then to the Snohomish County Jail.

Drivers blowing virtually every new stop sign in Arlington, WA

A couple days ago when I was running from my office to get my haircut in Smokey Point I noticed a change on one of the backroads I usually take to avoid the traffic on 172nd. Apparently the city felt that 35th Ave NE needed six stop signs installed on a road that is about 1/8 of a mile long. 

They put up some flags and warning signs, but without flashing lights or something more dramatic people simply don't notice the signs and are blowing through every single one.  Seems like a natural place for Arlington PD to hang out and write up dozens of citations.

lake stevens police shooting 11-01-09

Had dinner in Woodinville last night, when we were heading back home we got caught up in a big construction jam on highway 9 near Snohomish. About that time a shooting occurred in Lake Stevens, a couple county units blew by me heading to the call. Here is a quick clip of one of them:

Lake Stevens had shut down access to the area and Lake Stevens medics cancelled airlift (since the victim had died)
